# NetWatch: understand and act on your network.

An agent on your network executes commands, reads security information and coordinates tools. The 3CX connection is a planned development.

## Know which endpoints are actually covered

**Your need.** Equipment is visible on the network, but you do not know whether each device still reports its protection information.

**Concrete use.** The local network inventory is compared with accessible security information. A device present on the network but missing from protection monitoring can be flagged for investigation. Reports and alerts make gaps visible before an intervention is decided.

**Product deployed at customer sites.** NetWatch complements management and protection tools; it is not a standalone EDR. The dialogue connection with 3CX remains a planned development.

## A Karbonic agent on your network

NetWatch is developed to operate from a workstation installed on your network. The agent executes commands and gathers information needed for diagnosis. Data from compatible protection tools also contributes to understanding the situation.

## Connect security and endpoint management

The aim is to connect what tools observe with what can be done on equipment. EDR/XDR tools supply security information; central management tools handle endpoints and updates. NetWatch organises their coordination according to the installation.

An alert can be examined alongside the state of the affected device, then lead to defined checks or intervention. Possibilities depend on accessible information and granted permissions.

## Part of IT estate management

NetWatch is part of an approach bringing together endpoints, physical or virtualised servers, the network, security and communication systems. Collected information supports diagnosis and intervention.

## Prepare a connection to 3CX

Connection to 3CX telephony is planned. The aim is to ask the system a question directly and obtain an answer based on collected information.

“Which endpoints need intervention?” or “Has this alert been handled?” illustrate the intended interaction. This function is presented as a development objective.

## Explain before acting

The information consulted, its date and missing elements must be identifiable. Actions remain tied to permissions and specific conditions. A system response is not, on its own, approval to modify the installation.

Equipment to monitor, accessible data and useful commands are defined for your network. Installation conditions, access and follow-up are reviewed with Karbonic.
